Why Certify as a CCCE?

Certified Childbirth Educators (CCCEs) provide evidence based information to the community, families and professionals. Childbirth Educators can be found working in a variety of settings to offer their services to families. Families can find them working as public health educators, hospital/community educators, in care providers’ offices and in private practice as educators.

CAPPA Childbirth Educators are non-clinical professionals. CAPPA Childbirth Educators do not dispense medical advice, diagnose medical conditions, or prescribe/administer medications or treatments of any kind. Educators do not offer information that directs families to act against medical advice.

How to Certify as a CCCE:

FACULTY: I have taught childbirth education classes to birthing women and their partners in the Atlanta area for the last 10 years. I primarily teach an independent curriculum classes to both groups and private in-home clients. I've also taught birth and newborn care classes to birthing couples at an area hospital. Teaching is a passion for me! I know that childbirth can be positive and empowering when couples attend classes to cultivate some understanding of the birth process. I teach a low-intervention birth class which emphasizes how parents can take an active role in this experience of a lifetime.

Tuition: $435 if paid by Sept 19, 2019, after Sept 19, fee is $450.
